From 61/90 to 89/90

Rebuilding a website for AI discovery

A Dubai-based education and training organisation already had a well-established brand, useful content and a functioning website. The problem was not what the business offered. It was how clearly automated systems could discover, interpret and use that information.

We improved the website’s machine-readable structure, crawl pathways, business signals and AI-facing resources, increasing its automated AI-readiness score by 28 points.

The website made sense to people, but not consistently to machines

The business had strong credentials, recognisable services and plenty of useful information across the website. A visitor willing to browse several pages could understand what it offered, who it served and how to get in touch.

Automated systems had a harder time.

Important information was distributed across timetable pages, practical-information sections, accordions and booking routes. The homepage provided limited explanatory context, specialist AI-readable files were missing, and the site did not give search engines and AI assistants one consistent machine-readable version of the business.

This created a familiar problem:

The information existed, but automated systems had to work too hard to find and interpret it.

Before: a functioning website with important machine-readable gaps

The initial audit found a reasonable technical base, but several weaknesses limited the site’s readiness for AI-assisted discovery and automated browsing.

The most important issues

  • No working llms.txt, llms-full.txt or agents.md
  • Limited machine-readable context on the homepage
  • Inconsistent identification of services and customer journeys
  • Weak extraction of contact and booking routes
  • Incomplete structured business information
  • Crawler controls that did not clearly support AI visibility
  • Moderate desktop performance and page-stability issues
